Hello everyone, last week I posted about a new artistic avenue
that I have just started exploring: Digital Art—a fast, fun and less-messy way
to be creative and to work on your drawing/painting skills. Today, I am sharing
two more paintings that I created using the powerful editing program Photoshop
(PS), which enabled me to achieved some wonderful effects that other free painting software that I had tried did not provide.
See my first Digital Paintings that I created with PS here:
While PS is not a free program, for those of you interested in
trying it, Adobe offers a free 7-day trial, which I used to create the pieces
that I am sharing today (currently they offer a monthly subscription to use the
program after the 7 days, but you can at least see if it something you are
interested in purchasing). Please note that I am not receiving any compensation
for this review, but trying to provide information on creative outlets for
fellow artists and art enthusiasts.
Here is a great YouTube video on "Thumbnail Art” that will
help you get started with using PS for painting:
For this first set of digital paintings I was inspired by the concept
art of several artists who use PS to create their professional work. I hope that you are inspired by what you see and will try to create some paintings of your own - art is such a fun way to be creative and it brings such joy to admire something that you created!
