Hello everyone, hope that you are having a great week! Back again with Day 2 Photos from my trip to Cape Hatteras, Outer Banks, North Carolina that my wife and I took this past weekend. If you missed seeing the Day 1 photos, you can check them out at the link below! This was a challenging day/set of photos to put together, because I took close to 250 photos on this day alone, so choosing the best 25 was particularly difficult. Please know that for every picture that I selected there were many more that were just as good that I could not include here.

Check out my Instagram and follow me there if you would like to see other photos not included in this set!

This was our first full day that we spent on Cape Hatteras. After taking some gorgeous sunrise photos right from my motel balcony with the waves crashing only 10ft out, we visited the beautiful Buxton Woods—a unique marshland/wooded area at the heart of island, took a stroll on the beach in the afternoon, and captured some amazing sunset photos across the Pamlico Sound. All in all it was an inspiring nature-filled day that I will remember for a long time to come! Enjoy:

Notice that the legend on the bottom left has a "You Are Here" symbol, but where you start is not actually marked on map above! We began at the parking "P" in the upper right corner and hiked to the "Open Ponds Trail."

This was the end of the line for us as the marsh had overflowed the bank and washed across our path. :  (
